Looking after more than one place
Several places should not mean several systems. Each location keeps its name; the people and animals stay one workspace.

Identity without isolation
A kennel and a cattery are not the same place. A grooming table is not a boarding run. Customers still expect the team to know the animal wherever they were last week.
The mistake is either one anonymous list, or a separate login for every building. One workspace can still name the places.
Cover follows the work
When someone is away, cover is easier if time off sits beside the stays. You should not discover a gap on the morning of a full boarding day because holiday lived in a different calendar.
